தாமிக் கலாசாரம் | Selfie culture

Smart phones are becoming more and more Selfie-focused. Most of the upcoming phones have front camera with more than 2MP. Some of them have front flash too. It shows how much we are getting isolated from people around us. We feel shy to ask others to take a picture.Even for a group photo, we don't ask a stranger to take a picture of our group. We just take a group-selfie. We are becoming more and more self-centric and our "photo moments" are becoming more and more private. End of the day, our photo collection will look like we spent our entire life alone.

We call our era "Globalization" but it's nothing but isolation. We call our web communications "Social Networking" But we lose socializing. ‪#‎Dafaq‬
 
புதிதாக வரவுள்ள திறன்பேசிகள் பலவும் "தாமி" எடுப்பதை முதன்மைப்படுத்தியே வடிவமைக்கப்படுகின்றன. 2MP இலும் அதிக திறன்வாய்ந்த முன் கமராக்கள் வருகின்றன. முன்னால் Flash வசதி கூட இருக்கிறது. எங்களுடைய படங்களை எடுப்பதற்கு இன்னொருவரது உதவியைக் கேட்கத் தயங்கும் மோசமான தனிமை எம்மைச் சூழ்கிறதோ என்று அச்சம் வருகிறது. 

குழுவாகத் "தாமி " எடுக்கும்போது கூட இன்னொரு மனிதரைக் கூப்பிட்டுப் படமெடுக்கக் கேட்பதில்லை. மேலும் மேலும் தன்முனைப்பானவர்களாகவும் தனித்தவர்களாகவும் நாம் மாறுகிறோம். படமெடுக்கும் நொடிகள் எல்லாம் தனிமை சூழ்ந்த நொடிகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன. கடைசியில், எமது படங்களைப் பார்க்கும்போது வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் நாம் தனிமையிலேயே கழித்தோமோ என்று எண்ணத் தோன்றுமா?

"உலகமயமாக்கல்" என்று நாம் வாழும் காலத்தை அழைக்கிறோம். ஆனால் தன்மைப்பட்டுப் போய் நிற்கிறோம். "சமூக வலையமைப்பு" என்று எம் இணையத் தொடர்பாடலை நாம் சொல்லுகிறோம் ஆனால் சமூகமயமாகாமல் தனித்தலைகிறோம்.
